Torie & Howard Beach Pudding Cups Recipe
With Torie & Howard Organic Hard Candies
What You'll Need:
- ⅔ cup granulated sugar
- 3 tbsp cornstarch
- ¼ tsp salt
- 2 cups almond milk
- 2 tbsp vegan butter or coconut oil
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1 bag Torie & Howard Assorted Hard Candy
- 4 paper umbrellas
Instructions
Add sugar, cornstarch, and salt to a small pot. Whisk together. Slowly pour almond milk
into the pot, whisking as you pour.
Transfer pot to the stovetop. Warm over medium heat, whisking constantly. Once the
mixture comes to a boil, continue cooking for 2-3 minutes as it thickens and becomes
glossy.
Remove mixture from the stovetop. Immediately add vegan butter (or coconut oil) and
vanilla extract. Whisk together to combine.
Transfer pudding to a large bowl. Cover with cling wrap, pressing it directly onto the surface of the pudding to avoid a crust layer forming on top.
Chill pudding in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours (or overnight).
Serve the vanilla pudding in glasses. Top with graham cracker crumbs, Torie & Howard Assorted Hard Candy, and paper umbrellas.
