What You'll Need:
- 12 yellow cupcake liners
- 1 box vanilla cake mix of choice
- 2 cups vanilla frosting
- ⅛ tsp yellow food coloring (or *natural alternative)
- 24 eyeball sprinkles
- 1 bag Sour Punch Bites Tropical Blends
- *Note - For natural coloring: 1/4 to 1/2 tsp turmeric powder + 1/2 to 1 tsp pineapple, mango, or peach powder

Step 1
Bake Your Cupcakes
Prepare vanilla cupcakes according to the package instructions, using yellow cupcake liners. Let cool completely.

Put Vanilla Frosting in Bowl
Using the orange decorating gel, create a “carrot” nose on each marshmallow. Using the black decorating gel, create two “coal” eyes on each marshmallow.

Add Color to Frosting
Combine vanilla frosting and yellow food coloring (or natural alternative) to create a bright yellow frosting.

Transfer Frosting to Piping Bag & Frost Your Cupcakes
Transfer the frosting to a piping bag. If the frosting has a thin consistency, store it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to firm up. Pipe a swirl of frosting onto each cupcake.

Open Your Sour Punch Bites and Grab the Eyeball Sprinkles
Unwrap the Tropical Blends Sour Punch Bites. Divide orange-colored bites from the rest of the bag. Using a knife, slice a few triangles out of each bite. These will be used as the chick’s beak and feet.
Gently attach two eyeball sprinkles, one orange beak, and two orange feet to the frosting on each cupcake.
